Billet Aluminium Recycle

In the initial phase, PT Indonesia Aluminium Alloy will produce secondary aluminum billets with a diameter of 155 mm (6 inches) and a length of 5,800 mm. The types of billets to be produced are series 6063, 6061, and 6005.

The 6063 billet series is the most commonly used aluminum alloy for aluminum extrusion. Some advantages of this series include its ability to be transformed into more complex shapes, having a very smooth surface, being suitable for anodizing, and being highly popular for architectural applications such as window frames, door frames, roofs, and signage frames. On the other hand, for applications requiring higher strength, the 6061 or 6005 billet series are typically used instead.
