Process of Production

Decoating is a part of the aluminum scrap treatment process to reduce impurities, particularly residues like paint or coatings, adhered to the aluminum scrap. Decoating is the final stage of the Scrap Pretreatment System process following shredding and magnetic separation, which separates metals other than aluminum from the aluminum scrap.
In aluminum scrap, the term Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) is used to indicate the percentage of impurities. PT Indonesia Aluminium Alloy designs aluminum scrap to be further processed by the Scrap Pretreatment System.
