Kuala Tanjung, 9 September 2022 – PT Indonesia Aluminium Alloy (PT IAA) received the first shipment of the main machinery utilizing the Masterlist facility from the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). The shipment was carried out by Mechatherm International Limited (MIL) located in the United Kingdom, destined for Belawan Port, North Sumatra, and further transportation to Kuala Tanjung, North Sumatra.
This first shipment includes the main machinery for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPC) project, comprising components such as the Melting Furnace, Holding Furnace, Vertical Direct Chill (VDC) Casting Pit, and several other parts. The receipt of these machine parts is crucial in achieving the Commercial Operations Date (COD).
