Kuala Tanjung, 26 Februari 2024 – PT Indonesia Aluminium Alloy (PT IAA) welcomed a field visit from PT Allure Industries on Monday, February 26, 2024. The Chief Executive Officer of PT IAA, Ricky Gunawan, and the Operations Director of PT IAA, Agus Wibowo, received the visit from the Chief Executive Officer of PT Allure Industries, Johanes Soetanto, accompanied by the Head of Commercial Group and Supply Chain of PT INALUM, Gusti Fauzi M. Gafli, and the Head of Commercial Department, Joko Susilo. The visit was conducted to directly review the business processes and readiness of PT IAA's Billet production machines located in Kuala Tanjung, North Sumatra.
Kunjungan diawali dengan penjelasan singkat oleh Direktur Operasi PT IAA, Agus Wibowo mengenai proses alur produksi Billet Aluminium Recycle. PT IAA memproduksi Billet Aluminium Recycle dengan seri 6063 dan 6061 berdiameter 6 inci (155 mm). Direktur Utama PT IAA, Ricky Gunawan juga menyampaikan rencana investasi Meja Casting Billet berukuran 5 inci.
“Ke depannya apabila Casting Table 5 inci milik PT IAA siap dioperasikan, PT IAA dan Allure diharapkan dapat saling bersinergi dalam hal kerja sama suplai Billet 5 inci melalui skema Tolling dengan bahan baku menggunakan waste sisa ekstrusi milik PT Allure Industries,” ucap Kepala Grup Komersial dan Rantai Pasok PT INALUM, Gusti Fauzi M. Gafli.
Through the brief discussion, PT IAA and PT Allure plan to explore a tolling collaboration, where the extrusion waste from Allure will be processed into Billets at PT IAA's facilities.
